WSMN at the Salvation Army Groundhog Day Breakfast

The Salvation Army annually recognizes members of the community and workers from within it's own organization each year at a special Groundhound Day breakfast. WSMN's Morning Liftoff Show was invited this year to provide a live broadcast from the hall outside the banquet chamber during the event, which lasted from about 6:45 am until 8:30.

This photo has New Hampshire's third term Governor John Lynch on one end of the broadcasting table and Nashua's Mayor Donnalee Lozeau on the other. George Russell, the host of the Morning Liftoff Show is in the center and Cindy Femino along with Robin Ann Peters, in the pink jacket, are his co-hosts. Meri Goyette, patron to many civic activites in Nashua along with Tom Jenkins, a Salvation Army advisory board member, are seen here chatting with Robin during their live coverage of the Groundhog Day broadcast on Feb 2nd, 2009.
