Rally for Preservation
Tonight I met with Alan Manoian to discuss - well - Nashua! We covered a lot of ground but the most encouraging and discouraging news we spoke of had to do with the state of our city. I could not be more frustrated with the news at hand - People in the government of this city have begun a tragic role placing two (that I know of of hand) historically valuable sites at the mercy of the private sector: The Chandler Library and the Court Street Firehouse! Both these locations need us if they are to survive.
Hopefully my book "Then & Now Nashua" will awaken some eyes and propel a new and better destiny for these treasured buildings and more like them.
